Connect with Other Riders
Private Messaging allows you to communicate directly with other Your2Wheels members without posting publicly in the Community Feed.
Whether you’re organising a ride, asking a question or simply getting to know another rider, messaging makes it easy to stay connected.
Opening Your Messages
Your messages are always available using the Messages button located in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Simply click the button to:
- View your conversations.
- Read new messages.
- Reply to existing conversations.
- Start a new conversation.
Starting a New Conversation
There are several ways to start chatting with another member.
You can:
- Visit a member’s profile and click Message.
- Click the Messages button in the bottom-right corner and start a new conversation.
- Reply to an existing conversation already in your inbox.
Once you’ve selected a member, simply type your message and click Send.
Finding Previous Conversations
All of your conversations are stored in your Messages inbox.
From there you can:
- Continue previous conversations.
- Search for members.
- Read older messages.
- Start new conversations.
This makes it easy to pick up where you left off.
Tips for Great Conversations
Private messaging is a great way to build connections within the Your2Wheels community.
When messaging other members:
- Be friendly and respectful.
- Introduce yourself if you’re contacting someone for the first time.
- Keep messages relevant and courteous.
- Respect another member’s privacy.
- Respond promptly when organising rides or events.
Positive conversations help build a welcoming community for everyone.
