Private Messaging allows you to communicate directly with other Your2Wheels members without posting publicly in the Community Feed.
Whether you’re organising a ride, asking a question or simply getting to know another rider, private messaging makes it easy to stay in touch.
All conversations are only visible to the people participating in them.
Why Use Private Messaging?
Private Messaging is ideal for:
- Organising rides
- Asking questions
- Sharing ride details
- Meeting other riders
- Following up after events
- Getting to know fellow members
It’s a great way to build friendships and connect with riders who share similar interests.
Starting a Conversation
You can start a private conversation from several places throughout Your2Wheels, including:
- A member’s profile
- The Members directory
- Your Messages page
Simply select the Message button to begin a new conversation.
What Can You Send?
Depending on your device and account permissions, you may be able to send:
- Text messages
- Emojis
- Photos
- Files
- Links
Private Messaging makes it easy to keep conversations organised in one place.
Respect Other Members
Private Messaging should always be used respectfully.
Please avoid:
- Spam
- Harassment
- Offensive language
- Unwanted advertising
If another member asks not to be contacted, please respect their wishes.
