Keep Your Event Information Up to Date

After creating an event, you may need to make changes as plans evolve. Keeping your event information accurate helps other members stay informed and ensures everyone has the latest details.

As the event organiser, you can manage your own events at any time.

Viewing Your Events

To view events you’ve created:

  1. Select Events from the main menu.
  2. Open My Events (or view your profile’s Events tab, if available).
  3. Select the event you wish to manage.

Editing an Event

If any event details change, you can update your event.

You may wish to edit:

  • Event title
  • Description
  • Date or time
  • Destination
  • Meeting location
  • Event image
  • Additional information

After making your changes, save or update the event so members see the latest information.

Updating Attendees

If your event includes important updates, such as a change of meeting point or departure time, update the event as soon as possible.

Clear communication helps avoid confusion on the day of the event.

Cancelling an Event

If an event can no longer go ahead:

  1. Edit the event.
  2. Clearly indicate that the event has been cancelled.
  3. Include a brief explanation where appropriate.
  4. Save your changes.

If possible, notify anyone who planned to attend.

Deleting an Event

If an event was created in error or is no longer required, you may be able to delete it.

Please note that deleting an event permanently removes it from the Events directory.

If you’re unsure, consider editing or cancelling the event instead.

Event Images

You can update your event image at any time.

A clear, high-quality image helps your event attract more interest and gives members a better idea of what to expect.

Tips for Event Organisers

  • Review your event before publishing.
  • Update details promptly if plans change.
  • Respond to member questions where possible.
  • Keep descriptions clear and informative.
  • After the event, consider sharing photos and a ride report in the Community Feed.

Well-managed events help build a positive and active riding community.
